we are in kashmir to attend altaf's wedding... that we attended.
major, major feast.
we also engaged ourselves in other things in kashmir...

walk...
eat...
get into stone throwing activities of Kashmiri teenagers.
drink kahwa (kashmiri tea)
bottomline - its great here in Kashmir.
surely is a paradise on earth, minus the security forces for sure.

You threw me back to three months of me myself and kashmir back in 2004. Life was simple and yes security forces were still very much a part of the picturesque paradise. warm chestnuts, warmer kahwa, really warm gustabas near hot bon fires and smoking pot...horse rides in gulmarg, drives along lal chowk and treks in dachigaam, the wet bazaar on the Dal and its swaying weepy willows... o this one portfolio is way too vivid. great stuff. bless you for capturing a part of an image in my head.
